Care & Community

Being environmentally and socially responsible is no longer an option – it’s a duty. We owe it to our children and our children’s children.

As a successful, forward-looking organisation, we have an obligation to show leadership and set an example in all we do. That is why we’re striving to become a business that is not only financially viable but environmentally sustainable and fair to all.

This isn’t just about complying with regulations, but about making the right choices and being fully committed to our CSR programme. As part of this, we will be assessing the technology we use, as well as our business requirements and best environmental practices, on an ongoing basis. We’ll examine our behaviour individually and collectively to find ways to waste less and recover more.

Because tomorrow is just around the corner.

Celebrating 10 Years Through Good Causes

We could not be prouder that 2019 is Stadium’s tenth anniversary. In our decade of operation, we have gone from strength to strength – and we’re hugely grateful to everyone who has helped us along the way.

That’s why we’ve chosen to celebrate our big birthday by raising money for some great causes. We’ve chosen ten charities to mark our tenth year: Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, Alzheimer’s Society, Cancer Research UK, Coventry & Warwickshire Mind, Emmaus Coventry & Warwickshire, Macmillan Cancer Support, Myton Hospices, The Forest Hermitage, YoungMinds and Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice. We’ll be raising funds for each and every one.

Every member of staff at Stadium will have the opportunity to get involved in one of our birthday events – and we know that they’ll all be keen! With more than thirty planned activities, there’s a lot going on: from an abseil down Coventry Cathedral to the Pretty Muddy 5K, staff will be tackling everything from the Three Peaks Challenge to a Tandem Skydive.

Getting our staff involved in the big birthday bash was a really important part of how we approached the anniversary. When we first launched the campaign, we asked our staff what charities were close to their hearts. They replied with a lovely mix of local and national charities – and now we’re going to go all-out to do every cause justice.

This campaign is a way of raising money for all sorts of charities, then, but also to have fun and unite our teams across the UK, working together to give something back to the communities we live in and help those less fortunate than ourselves. That seems like an important way to celebrate our birthday: by focusing on others, and working to help them.

Six brave workers have already stripped off and receive their first ever spray tan to officially launch our anniversary charity campaign! There will be a lot more where that came from. Happy birthday to us!
